【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60793-2isapplicabletoopticalfibrecategoriesA4a,A4b,A4c,A4d,A4e,A4f,A4gandA4h.Thesefibreshaveaplasticcoreandplasticcladdingandmayhavestepindex,multi-stepindex,orgraded-indexprofiles.Thefibresareusedininformationtransmissionequipmentandopticalfibrecables.Table1summarizessomeofthesalientcharacteristicsandapplicationsofthesefibres.InadditiontotheapplicationsshowninTable1,otherapplicationsforA4fibresinclude,butarenotrestrictedto,thefollowing:supportforshortreachhighbit-ratesystemsintelephony,distributionandlocalnetworks,carryingdata,voiceand/orvideoservicesandon-premisesintrabuildingandinterbuildingfibreinstallations,includingLANs,PBXs,video,variousmultiplexinguses,andmiscellaneousrelateduses,suchasconsumerelectronicsandindustrialandmobilenetworks.ThreetypesofrequirementsapplytoA4fibres:?generalrequirements,asdefinedinIEC60793-2;?specificrequirementscommontocategoryA4multimodefibrescoveredinthisstandardandthataregiveninClause3;?particularrequirementsapplicabletoindividualfibretypesorspecificapplicationsandthataredefinedinthisstandardinthenormativefamilyspecificationannexes.
