【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusedbypaintproducersandconsumersforproductprocesscontrolandforproductacceptance.1.1Thistestmethodcoversaprocedureforthepigmentcontentdeterminationofwater-basedpaints.Itisapplicableonlytopigmentsthatdonotdecomposeorloseweightattemperaturesbelow500x00B0;C.Suchpigmentsincludemostmetaloxides,silicates,andamajorityofanhydrousinorganicsalts.1.2Manywater-basedpaintscontainpigmentsandorganiccolorantsthatlosewaterofhydrationordecomposeatthistemperature.Theresidualashshouldbecarefullyinspectedforchangesincolorortexturethatcouldindicateapigmentalterationandhenceleadtoerroneousresults.Cautionshouldthereforebeexercisedwhenapplyingthistestmethodtosamplescontainingunknownpigmentcompositions.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
