【摘要】:Ethanolextractivesareanymaterialsfoundinbiomassthataresolubleinethanol.Theyarenotconsideredtobepartofthestructuralcomponentsofbiomassandshouldberemovedpriortoanychemicalanalysisofthesample.Theprolongedextractionremovesnonstructuralmaterialsthatcanincludewaxes,fats,resins,tannins,gums,sugars,starches,andpigments.Removinghydrophobicmaterialsfromthebiomassmakesiteasiertowetthematerialfortheanalysisofstructuralcomponentsinthebiomass.ThistestmethodyieldsresultscomparabletoTestMethodD1107.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofethanolsolubleextractives,expressedasapercentageoftheoven-driedbiomass,ofhardandsoftwoods,herbaceousmaterials(suchasswitchgrassandsericea),agriculturalresidues(suchascornstover,wheatstraw,andbagasse),andwastepaper(suchasofficewaste,boxboard,andnewsprint).Allresultsarereportedrelativetotheoven-driedweightofthesample.Note18212;Thistestmethodmaynotbesuitableforhardandsoftwoodsamplesthatincludebarkorthosewithmorethan10%extractablematerials.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
