【摘要】:ThispartofthisEuropeanStandardspecifiesrequirementsandtestmethodsforthemigrationoftheelementsantimony,arsenic,barium,cadmium,chromium,lead,mercuryandseleniumfromtoymaterialsandfrompartsoftoysexceptmaterialsnotaccessible(seepart1ofthisstandard).Packagingmaterialsarenotincludedunlesstheyarepartofthetoyorhaveintendedplayvalue.(SeeAnnexD.)Whenappropriate,thetoyissubjectedtorelevanttests,specifiedinpart1ofthisstandard,beforetheaccessiblityisconsidered.Requirementsareincludedforthemigrationfromthefollowingtoymaterials:—coatingsofpaints,varnishes,lacquers,printinginks,polymersandsimilarcoatings(see8.1);—polymericandsimilarmaterials,includinglaminates,whethertextilereinforcedornot,butexcludingothertextiles(see8.2);—paperandpaperboard(see8.3);—textiles,whethernaturalorsynthetic(see8.4);—glass/ceramic/metallicmaterials(see8.5);—othermaterialswhethermasscolouredornot(e.g.wood,fibreboard,hardboard,boneandleather)(see8.6);—materialsintendedtoleaveatrace(e.g.thegraphitematerialsinpencilsandliquidinkinpens)(see8.7);—pliablemodellingmaterials,includingmodellingclays,andgels(see8.8);—paints,includingfingerpaints,varnishes,lacquers,glazingpowdersandsimilarmaterialsinsolidorinliquidformappearingassuchinthetoy(see8.9).Toysandpartsoftoyswhich,duetotheiraccessibility,function,mass,sizeorothercharacteristics,obviouslyexcludeanyhazardduetosucking,lickingorswallowing,bearinginmindthenormalandforseeablebehaviourofchildren,arenotcoveredbythispartofEN71.NOTEForthepurposesofthisstandard,thefollowingcriteriaareconsideredappropriateinthecategorizationofsucking,lickingorswallowing:—allintendedfood/oralcontacttoys,cosmetictoysandwritinginstrumentscategorizedastoys;—toysintendedforchildrenupto6yearsofage,i.e.allaccessiblepartsandcomponentswherethereisaprobabilitythatthosepartsorcomponentsmaycomeintocontactwiththemouth.(SeeAnnexD.)
